2001 expedition interior lights stay on

Are you saying the interior light never turns off? It should time out in a few minutes, even when you leave a door open.

Hey did you ever figure it out I have the same issue word for word
The only help I can offer is that one of the door sensors is bad. I've replaced several in my many Fords over the years.
If the lights never time out and turn off then it might be the GEM. I just replaced the one in my panther because the lights wouldn't turn on.

Yes, you may have a short in the membrane. Perhaps water got in.. If you can unplug the keypad it may answer the question
