2001 expedition w/rear manual ac/heat controls. No temp control.

Front blend door has been changed, front heater core, everything checks good. But regardless of what I change the temp to the front won't move from heat and the rear won't change from cool. I know the selector (defrost, floor, ect) uses vacuum, and temp selection uses 12v. But both front and rear do not respond. Any clue?

Both of the controls may be protected by the same fuse. They are on my 99. I would check the fuses first. If they check out ok I would then check for power at the blend door pots.

Central Junction Box (under dash) #5,23 and 24
Battery Junction Box (Engine compartment) #13,23,105 and 114

All of those fuses check good.

Your going to have to start pulling things out at this point. If you haven't invested in a test light, now is a good time to get one.

Check the front potentiometer for a 12v supply on one of the wires with the ign in run. If there isn't a 12v feed then you need to pull the driver side rear panel off to gain access to the "Auxiliary A/C Control Module" and the "Auxiliary A/C Blend Actuator".
My year shows a White/Lt Blue wire supplies power to both at pin #8. Check for power here. They look like they are located just under the window in the drawing.

The blend door pots are connected to the Aux A/C Blend Actuator which is connected to the Aux A/C Control Module. If these have power, then the problem is in the modules, pots or harness. We can check the pots and the harness but not the modules. Process of elimination...

If you recently changed the heater core and the blend door stopped working, I would look at the G200 ground point. It is located behind the passenger kick panel.

Going to check that in the morning, I remember disconnecting that, but do not recall if I reconnected it..
