Hello, I have a 2002 XLT Expedition and I noticed every time I would close the sunroof, there would still be a lot of wind noise. I tap the close button again and it raises the glass to where its supposed to be. When I looked closely at the sunroof and its function though, I realized that its supposed to automatically close to the right height when you hold the button. Mine closes almost half an inch too short and its getting pretty annoying to use. I am constantly having to adjust it after using the sunroof to get the wind noise to stop. I am certain that's not right. So I assume there is a way to adjust it, presumably electronically. I am guessing either a sequence of buttons or maybe you shut off power to it, etc. Does anyone know what the process or procedure is to fix this? I can't find anything online specifically referring to the first gen. Any help is appreciated. I am attaching a picture of what happens when I "close" the sunroof.
