Heavy throttle, light or both? All gears or just first to second?

Possible misfire, slipping 2nd gear band or bad U-joint would be my guess based on your first post.

Sounds like torque converter shudder to me. I have heard but never tried it but people say that you can add ford friction modifier to the tranny and it will fix it.

I believe torque converter shudder is typically associated with light throttle and the upper gears. Converter having issues locking up smoothly under load....

But I admit.... auto trannys are not my area.
