2005 expedition wont start

Well was out running erands today and my truck crapped out at the home depot. When I went to start it the starter sort of slowly died out as if the battery was going dead. Apon insp of the batttery installed by the preivousd owner I decieded to just replace it but to no avail as the truck still did not even so much as click the starter. So I took the relay out of the fuse box it tested good so I removed the starter. Once I got it to the parts store it failed their test so I left with a new (not reman) starter. Got it installed and still nothing. Not a click or bump no noise from the starter at all. By this time it was late and I called it a day anyone have any direction for me when get back at this in the am. Wish I had something better for my first post as this is confussing me. Thanks in advance for any help

Lights, horn, etc....working ? You didnt use the wrong key and set off the PATS system did you?
