Bought an 05 in the middle of winter and kept blowing the ac/4wd fuse. Disconnected ac clutch and never blew fuse again. Changed the clutch coil clutch and pulley yesterday. Everything went on good until it came to the clutch I face. It acted like it didn’t go an as far as the old one. So much so I couldn’t use the to small washers like the old one had. But went ahead and snugged the nut onto the compressor shaft. Voila ac works great. The issue I’m having is it’s like when the clutch is disengaged it still drags just enough that you can hear it and the compressor kind of jumps stalls jumps stalls repeatedly never fully stops rotating. Any advice on where to look. The clutch and pulley both set back far enough to engage the new snap rings so it’s not like the pulley isn’t setting in all the way. Included pic of old coil.
