Need some extra info please. I am in the need of a gasket change on my 05 4x4 oil pan and since the threads on the plug are a little tore up I am going to go ahead and do a full replacement. Here is my question, I watched a video on a 01 4x4 pan removal and I am wondering if there is anything new or different that I should watch out for, before I have her up in the air and stuck in mid stride.

Thanks

Just curious if you ever attempted this? I posted a new thread as I am doing the entire timing component change on my 05 3V also. I will be changing the oil pump while i'm at it. I wanted to pull the pan to clean it out & to have better access to the pickup tube. I have yet to receive a response on if the pan can be removed with the mill in the truck. I did see the same video on Youtube, and I hope it is as straight forward as it seems on the video.
