I've been to my dealer 2 times about always feeling jumping/vibration on any road at any speed.

The dealer is telling me the Expedition is like a truck and that's normal that it more prone to harshness on the road.

Is everybody feeling the same thing in their 2007-2010 Expeditions? Is this a 4X4 symptom?

Thanks.

4x4's have a higher spring rate which could cause that if Im not mistaken. But while were in the subject would you be able to do me a HUGE favor. Measure the distance from the road/driveway to the top of your front wheel well. Im trying to see if the 4x4's sit higher then the 2wd.:)

Well, I had to take measurement too because I need to check my weight distribution hitch this weekend.

36" front and 35" rear (not deep inside, to hit the fender). But the car is parked at a little angle driving up.

Great news! See I have the 2wd and was looking at the Truxx 3/2 lift. They say that a 2wd can fit 33's and a 4wd fits 35's bc it sits higher. I just went outside and measured my 2wd and its exactly 36" in the front and a little over 35 in the rear. Long story short Truxx is full of ****:D

Ah...the plot thickens!

Maybe you should call Truxxx and ask them why they made that claim. Curious what their reasoning is.

Oh and now you need to get 35's!

Hey Carrot. My '04 4x4 rides just fine on most roads, and I would think the '07 is similar. Unless the road is particularly harsh, mine rolls smooth as butter.

Matter of fact, I've had Dodge and Chevy owners in my truck and they comment on how smooth the ride is.

Hope this helps.

Starting in 2003 they starting making 4x2 and 4x4 the same height... so Truxx is going off the info from the first generation expeditions.

Carrot.. you shouldn't be feeling any vibration or jumpiness... the new expeditions are as smooth as most cars. Try taking it to a different dealership. I've never experienced vibrations even going 110mph.
