So I found this 2007 Expedition that looks pretty good and I think I want tio buy it..... its very basic, it was a fleet car with almost zero options and supre high miles (150k). The title is 2007 Fleet/Non-Retail Ford Expedition 4WD 4dr SSV U16.

Since its not for retail, how would anyone think I would go about figuring out if the guy is selling it to me for a good price? I tried kbb, edmunds and I cant find an option for these Fleet/Non-Retail catagorys... Should I just run the model with kbb and subtract 3k for the lack of any options.

Thanks

It would have to be EXTREMELY cheap for me to consider it. Depending on who had it, it could have idled for many thousands of hours. They sometimes do not get all the love they need. They do not have trailer tow either. Even if it looks good (they often do), it may be a ***** in a wedding dress.

I just looked at it and boy was that thing unlike any Expedition I have ever seen. ... 100% work truck with no options at all.. no center console, shifter on the column, no carpet, not ever arm rests in the front seats. Just pure basics.... 150k miles and really rusty underneath and in the engine compartment as well as some other important areas.

It was 8k for a 2007 XLT 4x4 but I foresee problems in the future.

Mine is the same config but an 03. I put an 06 consule from an F-150 take out for 175. I got mine with about 35k on it. My late uncle was a fleet salesman and he knew where it came from so I got the call hey I got one you should look at. With 2 boys the no carpet thing is going to be great!

I got 2011 Limited EL that I bought last October brand new and I already have 70K miles so 2007 with 150K is not extremely high miles. By the time my truck is 5 years old I will have like 400K miles.

I bought a 2008 Expedition EL SSV. Like you said, very basic. 3 bench seats, column shifter, power windows and locks. Rear air. I do have carpeting though. I like it except the complete lack of cup holders for the second row, that has turned out to be annoying. Also without a center console in the front, storage for your stuff is very limited. Does the front center console include cupholders for use by the second row seats? If so I may look into getting captains chairs and a console up front. But overall I'm really happy with the rig. Pretty clean, 2008 4x4 with 69k miles, got it for around $16k.

The center console in mine has cup holder in the back for the second row passengers.

Mine has cup holders in the back and there should be pictures in my profile of them.

you can use a console from F-150. I used a 2006. But I believe there is center consules for colum shifters...
