Ok just bought this 2007 to replace my 2000 that some idiot girl pulled out in front of me and totalled thought it was great with all the upgrades (basic 2000 to 2007 Eddie Bauer with sunroof power everything and dvd) until!!!! The dealer replaced the fuel pump assembly and filter because of slow or rough start and the computer showed pickups in fuel pump bad. So before that everything worked fine the day I test drove it. Then I went to pick it up and it idles rough. Runs down the road great and doesn't miss a lick. But when u sit still and sometimes when u first put it in reverse with your foot on the brake it idles hard. Just enough to bounce your foot on brake and hand on wheel. Just now drove my first tank of fuel thru it. So onto electrical issues. EverytI me I get out and shut it off with my radio on 98.1fm I get back in and my clock hasn't held the correct time and it will come on with am station on radio on and blaring will hold preset stations tho. Also noticed yesterday in our 45 degree drop in tempo that the heated leather seats would turn on but would go off after a few short minutes on their own. My stepson also complained that the power 3rd row seat wouldn't work. Watched him push the button from the drivers seat but when I tried it it worked. Hoping these "glitches" are easy fix and I didn't get a lemon

The radio appears to be losing power when you turn the key off. There are 5 fuses for the radio that you should check with a meter. They are located in the smart junction box in the passenger compartment. Fuse numbers are F3, F28, F38, F39 and F40.

The heated seats each have air filters at the blower motors If these are clogged and dirty or if they are blocked this could be the cause of your loss of heat

#rd row seat sounds like a switch that may be going bad.

The heated seat issue is likely the module and/or plug. The plug is a common issue; check out this video regarding the fix. Mine was replaced during the CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) process as the seats would shut off instantly after coming on. The other common issue is the heated/cooled seat control module. I had this module replaced during the CPO and then again last week as the seats were shutting off after 15 minutes. My heated seats now run until I shut them off as they should.

Simple first step: Clean your battery terminals. The dealer probably unhooked the battery when working on the fuel pump, and when they reinstalled the connectors on the battery, one may not be making good contact. Check these first...could be an easy fix. Just a thought.....

Your battery is going bad or has a bad cell - or the battery connections are not clean and tight.
