Hey all,
My wife and I purchased a 2008 Eddie last week. Nice rig! 117000 miles (need to do the tensioners and guides) but all and all a nice ride. I hope to find some good info on this forum! Going to drain are refill everything just like I did when I bought my 2001 Powerstroke. Will give me a baseline for myself so I can keep and eye on things.
Thanks for having me!!

Doing the tensioners just because or is it ticking? Reason I ask is I have an 08, bought with 114k on it 3.5 years ago or so, and now with 176k on it. Tensioners never done and running great.

Hi there,
They are making the rattling noise until they pump up. I've got the updated metal tensioners and new guides that I will be installing soon. I had them on my 5.4 DOHC race engine that I had built.
