2010 Exp King Ranch Running Board problem

having trouble with the driver side running voards. sometimes they extend when the door is closed. sometimes they retract when the door is open. sometimes they fail to open when the door opens. sometimes they fail to retract when the door closes.

it's at the dealer right now, but they are telling me they can't fix anything becasue they don't know which part is failing, and the boards work fine when they open/close the doors. has this happened to you? what could be going on ? thanks!

they should just replace the whole thing. its still under warranty.

I've got no sympathy for a person with a 2010 King Ranch Expy, since that person isn't me!! Naa just kidding but yeah it's still under full factory warranty so go back in to where you bought it, make a huge stink and you should leave satisfied.
