22B60AD3-B40F-4E47-9FFE-33AFF112D296.jpeg Can anyone identify this broken connector under the hood of my 2010 Expedition? Does it have a name or part number? I can’t locate one in my manual. Photo taken from the passenger side of the engine, closer to the firewall. Thanks.

Thanks, JollyRoger! I will check out the link for the vapor cannister purge valve.

Instead of buying a whole new vapor canister purge valve for $57, I think I may try removing the end piece which is broken and repair it with JB weld. I put tape on it, but want something more permanent. Thanks.

I’m thinking that it broke at that point when the previous owner was trying to install it remove it. I can’t see how it would break any other way. I wonder what led him to try that. I think I will tape it, plug in my OBDII Scanner and see if any codes show up. Maybe there is an associated problem I need to be aware of. Thanks.

Interesting! I never would have guessed that! But it does look like gnaw marks now that you mention it. I haven’t seen any shavings, though. I’ll check for gnaw marks elsewhere. Thanks!
