2012 Expedition, 5.4L 4wd, which transmission ?

My daughter has a 2012 Expedition, 5.4L 4wd. Which transmission does it have 6R80 or 6R100 ?

What is the proper fluid, Mercon LV or Mercon SP ?

How often should the fluid be changed, especially if towing ?

(None of these are clearly answered in the owners manual.)

I believe it should have the 6r80. I've never heard of a 6r100. There is a 4r100, but they were discontinued after the 2002 models. Not sure about which fluids to use, but as far as changing them for towing, probably every 30,000 miles. I've got the 4r100 in mine which was mated to all the diesel super duties, so it was built to haul. It says every 30,000 for mine, so I'd say go with that to be safe.
