2016 SSV driver's window auto operation

my new to me 2016 XL Fleet / SSV model says auto on the driver's window switch.
it does go UP in auto - no problems at all, but it doesn't go down in auto.
i thought this was odd.
is this correct operation or a reset / "learning" needed?

I have an 07 F150 that is the same and had an 04 Expedition that was also like that. I figured it was normal.

I have other Fords that behave the same way, probably normal.

I have a question for you on your XL fleet... Does it have the rear quarter panel window popout vent windows? I can't seem to find if this option was standard or available on the 2015-2017 XL fleet models.

Replace your switch. Mine was doing the same thing and a new switch fixed it.
