I completely forgot, but the .25" wheel spacers also allowed the Raptor center covers to snap on. The issue is partially the wheels, but also the internal shape of those covers, so that truck above with solid black covers may work better.

I’ve got a line on a set of the 2017 Raptor wheels also. Just waiting to meet up with the guy and trade the cash for the set.

You folks that are running the 3/2 ReadyLift, any unforeseen issues? I know these things have the potential to over stress ball joints, exceed alignment adjustment limits, etc.

Thanks!

Nope. I’ve been running my 3/2 with LT285/75R18 (35x11.50) tires on stock wheels for 25K miles over the past year and it’s still rock solid. I don’t drive it easy either.

Needed new wheels, but I found a deal on a brand new set of 2017 Raptor wheels and tires. Fit perfectly, threw a 1/4" spacer under the rears so that they matched the front.

This is with Ranch quicklifts in front and the rear air adjusted for ~1.5" lift.

How far off is your speedo with the 315s and how did it affect your mileage?

I run a tuner and corrected the speed. As for mileage, it’s similar to the e-rated 275/65/20s I had before, but probably ~1.5mpg worse than stock

Old thread I know, but I'm putting Raptor wheels and a lift on my 2011 EL. Has anyone experienced any issues with suspension, wheels, etc? If you could share your setup and miles since you have put the lift and wheels on it would be great. I'm looking at a 2.5"/1.5" lift on mine.

Right now I have the 20" platinum wheels and 275/55R20s. Hoping the new setup weighs slightly less with 17" raptors + 285/75R17s. Little less unsprung weight?

Readylift 3/2 with 35/11.50/20 ridge grapplers. Year and a half on and not one issue. Through 1.25” boras on about 15000 miles ago for a more aggressive stance. Readylift has been rock solid

I’m the odd man out I guess. I’m not into the raptor rims. I think the stock later model Expedition rims are pretty nice. I just need a lift and some larger rubber and I’d be thrilled. be1bf9a750acd4a2ecafbeb309eb8f6f.jpg

Lift before tires.

It is tight with lift. I doubt they would fit without. Maybe half as much might work?

Question for those who have installed Raptor wheels/tires. Have you all run the C rated BFGs w/o issue? How many miles are you getting out of them? I can grab a set of new 2020 takeoffs (wheels/tires) for $1k. Not sure if it's worth it or if I should stick w/ D or E rated tires. They'll be going on a 2012 EL w/ a leveling kit.
