That IIHS Small-Offset test is a doozie. It's specifically designed to miss the frame rail on SUVs and compacts, because cars are built to pass the NHTSA test, which is offset to the point of the frame rail.

Looks like it missed it on the F-150 here too, which surprises me. Even a steel-body vehicle in that test gets shredded, though. Many people react to a crash situation with steering to avoid the crash and a full-frontal crash turns into a small-offset one like that and is actually made much worse, hence this test.

thanks guys for the comments, ill try to snap some interior pics later today as the wife drove it to work, its her daily driver. we may be selling the wheels...we aren't big fans of the polished chrome or the 22" size but they came on it with our limited trim.

Yeah I don’t have a problem with them either but there are differing opinions in this thread, which I don’t mind either.

Yes it settles it for sure! Those don’t look near as good as the stock machined with black accents. I mean not even close/

I like the chrome wheels.

That's why they make chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Everybody has different taste.

For me it depends on the rest of the truck and body. That Navi on Instagram has a matte finish darker paint job so naturally black looks great on it.

I’m just gonna put this out there, if anyone with a new Navi is unhappy with their wheels and goes with something different, I’ll gladly take those ‘ugly’ ‘old’ wheels off your hands. LOL

Pinetop Arizona. Went skiing and it was 1 degree. Bad part is I broke my wrist. Family washed my car for me.

Sunrise had 6 inches on Friday night. Our friends brought their Tundra, 2014... what a gas guzzler, so happy with performance of our car.
