I’ve searched and I’m surprised nothing is coming up, but I’m about to buy a year-end Expedition and would just like some feedback on what kinds of deals people have gotten. It’s an XLT with 202a and tow package with 20” wheels, no pano roof. Either purchase price or OTD price would help to know, but please specify which you’re talking about. And if you got significant rebates, which did you get? Thanks in advance.

Father in law works at the dealership so we used one of his D plan employee prices. 2019 xlt, 202a, 20" wheels, nav package, and driver assistance package. Sticker was $60,080. Paid 53,554.25 plus tt&l. That includes a $2000 rebate. I gave up another $2000 rebate to do the 0% for 72 ford financing. Hope this helps you.

I think the best deals were in back July/Aug 2019 time frame that ended Labor Day weekend. Ford was offering really good rebates. I bought on Aug 31 and paid about $48.5k plus ttl that came out to $52,250 OTD. MSRP plus dealer markup of $500 (for front row window tint and door guard) was about $64,000. The model was 2019 XLT, 202A, 4WD, Driver assistance package, 20 in rims, and Navi. No pan roof (didn't want it). It's really loud when it rains and not too crazy about the tempered glass. Hail occurs several times a year here in Texas. I'm in the Dallas/Ft Worth area.

Bought a 4x2 XLT 8/29. There was $9,280 in rebates. MSRP $63,150 with destination; negotiated to 49,700 + tax/DMV. Has 202A, HD Towing, Voice activated nav, Driver assistance, 20" rims.

Good luck getting what you want at great price. Probably would not have bought otherwise. Very much like it though, and tows a 4500# travel trailer effortlessly. Way better than 2013 Yukon 5.3.

Can anyone advise me what is the best time to buy 2020 Expedition? In other words when does Ford give maximum discount?

Thanks for the replies so far, it really helps and I appreciate it. One question for those who have answered...for the two who negotiated sub-$50K purchase prices before T&L, did you have the opportunity to take advantage of the 0% for 72 that they are offering now? That's about a $6K benefit, so in other words, a $49K deal without the financing benefit is equal to about a $55K deal with the financing benefit, right? I think it's fair to look at it that way since my money is making over 10% (last few years anyways) so the free financing is basically money in my pocket.

Earliest is probably christmas or end of year time frame. After that there will probably be specials here and there (pres. Day, mem day), but ford truck month, july and august time is probably best deals for any new my.

I did not take advantage of financing as the big rebates was in lieu of it.

The biggest sale of Ford truck and SUV is around Labor Day. I bought my 2019 XLT 4WD, 202A, driver enhance, sunroof, white platinum, 20 inch wheel packages for $50,500 before ttl. Msrp was $66k. I got all rebates, X-Plan discounts, and some haggles. You can't use 0% with all rebates. I financed with Chase at 2.9% 72 months.

I'm looking to buy too. It would be nice if there were some holiday rebates. I have been watching for a while and prices did increase here in November. I'm hopeful that they increased the prices so that they could show a bigger price drop during the holidays????

How is the third row in the Tahoe /yukon regular? Can an adult sit anywhere near comfortably as in the expedition?

This is hilarious sarcasm.

If its not and a genuine question, no row in the swb gm utes even compare to the expys(the first row is measured more but doesnt feel anymore roomy, actually feels more confined due to dash design).

The base Tahoe is around $42k for LS model with RWD, cloth. It's a joke to pay that much money and get a bare bone package. The third row are staging higher due to the axles and nobody wants to sit there. I test drove Yukon, Yukon XL, Tahoe, and Suburban then new Ford Exp. Ford did a great job with everything over outdated GM Suvs. I even rented the Tahoe and the 5.3L was sluggish when comparing with Eco Boost.

Right now you forfeit $2750.00 in rebates to get the 0% interest on a 2019. Just bought a 2019 xlt fx4 with Nav and Conv packages. 202a, 4*4, tow package and $750 in free accessories and I paid 58,087 otd...Koons Ford in Virginia...Found them on ebay...Great transaction and economical shipping from Virginia all the way to me in Oregon...16% off msrp...

I'll chime in. I picked up my '19 XLT w/202A, 20" wheels, pano sunroof, navi, 4WD, and convenience package etc for a hair under $51k and 0% financing before ttl. They were going to take off $2k in rebates due to the financing option but I was able to negotiate with them to include the $1k SEMA promo. So I got all of the incentives less $1k plus the 0% financing. So far, I'm extremely impressed for what this vehicle gives you.

An adult can't sit in the third row in the Tahoe/Yukon. When I was shopping I took a test ride in the 3rd row of a Yukon. The salesman and I were unable to raise the second row without hitting my knees (and causing my legs to twist in some weird direction). There just wasn't enough room between the two rows for my femurs... And I'm only 5'8".

Also chiming in, here. Just purchased an XLT Max for 54k (plus tax) no dealer or doc fees. It was 65k list.

as for 3rd row seating: I came from an 09 suburban. The smaller wheel base really isn’t designed for a 3rd row. The Suburban/Yukon XL is fairly decent...until you get in the expedition and realize what you are missing (space, that is). The movable 2nd row seats really helps use the available space appropriate for the passenger arrangement.
