This started happening to us 3 days ago. First...Oct 1 and Oct 8 I get a fordpass message saying remote features disabled to preserve battery. I have a 2020 xlt Expd and 11500 miles on it. Its be a bit cold recently in High Desert, but the car is new...it shouldn't have a low battery. Anywho, I said strange maybe we don't drive it enough...ok. That stopped happening... Now 9 days later my husband goes to turn it it and it won't even make an engine noise. All that happens is crazy dash messages, gas gage going up and down, electric limited slip reduce torque, dimming lights, pre collision off....all sorts of things. He tells me this and I said did u record it...he says no. So the next morning he goes to the car at 10 am as usual, confident it would happen again he records. and once the car did turn on he drove and there were NO dash lights the screen remained blank throughout his drive. what the heck is going on!? There is no low battery indicator and my fordpass says there are no issues with the car. I'm so mad that such an expensive truck had issues already. I can't attach the video bc of size so I'll try and figure it out but message me maybe I can send it privately if u want to see it

It does sound like a low battery condition. I'd take it in and get the battery and charging system checked.

I have a 2020 platinum max that is doing the same thing. Put your foot on the break push the start button and all the lights flash. Tried starting with key fob, app and nothing. It will start with the key fob for about 2 seconds and die. Lasts about 30 mins, has lasted 4 hours. Anyone know the fix to this. I took it to the dealership and since it didn't happen there, the found nothing wrong with it.

Hi, just bought a 2020 XLT. Occasionally (and generally when in a hurry), the car won't start. Press the ignition button and lights flash, headlights flash, but nothing turns over. 15-30 min later, starts right up. Happens once a week, maybe less. Saw some threads on internet that this has happened before and could be related to anti-theft system. Any ideas on what I should tell dealership?
I am having the same problem did you ever find resolve?

We have also received the same notification multiple times (daily) on our Ford app for our 2020 Exp Max XLT. Twice we have taken the car in to be checked. Both times I was told the "malfunction codes that were stored are for a bad battery" and given a new battery. This current visit, I asked if they would test the electrical load/demand on my car at the battery compared to another Exp to see if anything was differnt/higher. They said "yes, all electrical tests were done per Ford's work instructions. It had low battery codes stored in the main computer." We we received a second battery replacement at 28,500 miles (previous replacement only 9 months ago). I cannot help but feel this is tied to the shutdown and craftsmanship. If you hear anything, please share!
