See what you can make of this...I've seen many threads close to this but nothing has helped yet. A month ago, my wife was forced off the road with multiple alerts and then the car shut off, parking brake engaged and no response since. The alerts I get are Park Brake Limited Function/Service Required, Service Advance Trac, Engine Coolant Over Temperature (the reason I think it won't crank), Blind Spot System Fault, Cross Traffic System Fault, and See Manual. The battery is very new as we had some of these symptoms and I figured that might solve them.

I'm thinking it may be a grounding issue somewhere since the alerts are so random and don't seem to reflect a single module or system.

If you could clarify, you had SOME of those symptoms before, then you replaced the battery, and now you have ALL of those symptoms?

Mostly the same that we could tell... She said she could feel the parking brake try to engage while the dashboard lit up with alerts. As she would pull over and turn the vehicle off then on again, the faults would clear and vehicle drive as normal.

If I were here, you would know it !
Park Brake Limited Function/Service Required, Service Advance Trac
This sounds like the ABS/speed sensor and/or wheel bearings are going bad...either of which can cause this error
Engine Coolant Over Temperature
Probably a bad thermostat, or worse, a failing water pump..

If you have Forscan, you might be able to get a more precise diagnosis and/or clear some of the codes, but that will probably lead you to a dealership for repairs...

The Blind spot/cross-traffic issues may just be the sensors, but without a specific code, it's hard to say what's wrong..

Good luck :)

It's been at the local Ford dealership for the last month. I would think they would check all the obvious issues with all the faults but they didn't communicate anything with us. We are getting it towed from them to my work (auto parts distribution warehouse) and I will work on it from here and hopefully repair. My gut tells me it's electrical because there's so many random things that would be too coincidental to hit all at once, especially with the symptoms briefly presenting themselves and then going away (ground wearing then finally breaking). I'm 95% sure I registered the new battery when I changed it or another possibility would be the alternator has been overcharging the battery and fried some of the electrical components/sensors, but then again, I would think the dealership would have at least did that simple check.

If the dealer didn’t communicate with you - did you contact them by telephone and speak to a service advisor or the service manager?

Has anyone scanned the vehicle for stored trouble code(s)?

We had to go by there to get any information and they were not very communicative. They said they replaced the BCM and Battery Junction Box as they were covered under warranty/recall. The service department is a joke and thus the reason I'm bringing it to our shop and doing it myself. I'm essentially starting from scratch and just wanted to see if anyone had any good advice or had similar issues that could point me in the right direction.

When they did connect to look up codes, there was more red than not; multiple systems. I won't know specifically until I get possession again and can look for myself.

This summer I had a similar issue with my 2018 Limited with 86k. When I came out to start the vehicle it would not start just flashed alerts on the center info screen. It turned out to be the transmission module. It was not communicating with the engine. It was under an extended warranty.

Definitely go warranty route
Find a different ford dealer but doing it your self when its under warranty is nuts. Can’t think if any reason someone would do that unless they modified electrical and are worried they did something.
