Logic to me says that you should be fine. Essentially you are adding 10mm width and about a .5 inch in height. Put your wheels to full lock and see how close to the frame they come. If you have more than 10 mm of clearance, which I am sure you will, then you are fine there. Then find a way to articulate the wheels (basically have to make it "bottom out") and measure there, if more than a .5 inch, then you are fine. Hope that helps.

Tire Question

Zombie - how do those tires ride? I've use the TA/KOs in several sizes in the past but never in this particular size. I'm looking at going to the 275/65/18s but am a little leary of an 80 PSI tire that weighs 9-10 lbs more similar sizes like the stock 265/70/17s I am replacing.

How about road noise?

i like them. they are smoother than the Nitto NT420S tires that were on here with my 22's. They do fairly well in mild amounts of sandy mud. I would recommend them.

wow you got that all wrong. the width is your 275 or 285. 70 or 75 is your aspect ratio, or percentage of the width of the tire that represents your sidewall height. so if you have a 12" wide tire, and your aspect ratio is 75 you have roughly 9 inches of sidewall (4.5" above your rim 4.5" below the rim). make sense?

Went with the BFG ATs

275/65/18s with KMC XD Monsters, 33mm offset. No change in ride height, tire diameter, or speedo calibration. Big change in looks. No longer see myself coming and going everywhere.

Pondering next mod....
