Does this still retain the ability to fold down the center seat from the buttons in the back?

I want to do the opposite. We have Bench Seats and I need to convert to captains chairs. Found some arm rests on car-part.com, going to ask them to pull that as well as the mounting bracket. Any other parts I should ask them to take or is that it?

@pmcrae - do you still have the plastic from your captain's chairs? I'm doing the opposite - bench to captains.

Not certain but I think it should. The second row fold down is just based on spring tension, that's why they don't have power fold up. Hitting the button for second row fold down just releases a catch and then the springs do the rest of the work of folding them down.

A 8 seater has 3 buttons in back to release the middle row, a 7 seater just has 2.

I believe the middle button folds both middle row seats with captain chairs.

We just picked up a '24 Platinum max with second row buckets and have started looking for the center seat to convert to bench. I found a set of seats but our vehicle shows trim code "SH" and the seats I am looking at have trim code "RH". Does anyone happen to know the difference? In the pictures they seem the same.

Has anyone figured out how to go from captains to bench without losing the arm rests? I would like to able to put one human and one large dog in the middle row. That would let me put a LOT more cargo in the back if I didn't have the dog back there. The dog doesn't fit on the captain seat.

Has anybody completed this on a regular 2018 expedition not a max? I ordered a max seat for our captains chairs expedition and we have a third baby otw. Need this to work!
