Came across a newer thread on a 300,000 mile 2010 5.4L Triton all original. Always nice to see stories like this, especially from the original owner (even cooler). Truck has always done towing duties apparently. Just something besides the usual problem posts on the forums....Interesting on the brake pads and rotors, that surprised me but I’ve read similar before.

I have ~145K miles and the rear brakes have not been replaced since I have owned the truck (~76K). That impressed me, but 300K with original brakes is really impressive.

FWIW; My Kerry has a Rogue....with around 90K. Since she was leaving for a trip this morning, I wanted to replace her front brakes, which been looked at, but never replaced.

I put it on the stands and pulled one wheel. 60-70% pad REMAINING!

Truth was, there was no reason in the world to replace the pads....other than I already had the job half done....so in went the ceramic pads and she will likely never wear them out.

I was pretty impressed with 90K.....says nothing compared to this!
