35" Kenda Klevers

Just got some 35" Kenda Klevers. Had to throw on 1.5" wheel spacers to fit them. Now to find some mud.

Haha before I completely read the entire post I said to myself go get that thing muddy but you read my mind *****. It's a nice setup but the running boards are killing the mojo there

Tell me about it. I had taken off the running boards for a couple weeks and my wife wasn't too happy. She is 5ft so getting in the truck was a little difficult.

What suspension are you using? I was thinking about getting the kit from RockAuto that I think is 1.5" rear lift and 1.75" front if I remember right. Looks great by the way!

I just got a leveling kit off eBay, 3" front, 2.5" rear.

Looks good you'll be surprise how these things climb as well with capable tires. Have fun!

I have same issue with kids, But they are kids they can climb! I have been looking for good steps but none of them high and tight enough and I mainly lifted because I needed and wanted more grounds clearance bent original steps going off road at stock height. I wish they made a slider that incorporated a nice step

Well if say you do buy a nerf bar set, and you want it mounted higher you can take the supplied mounting brackets and shorten them or fabricate something shorter with a different angle as well so it sticks out more or less out on the sides.

3" lift doesn't look like much from the picture. Can you tell it in person getting in and out yourself ??
Does it visually look lifted in person.
I'm looking to do the 3" front and 2.5" rear myself and get some bigger tires.

Scoot0073, yes it does look lifted and with out the running boards you can tell everytime you get in the truck. My kids love it because it usually sit above all the other cars in the parking lot so they can see it easier.

@Jb14 what size tires are those ?
and what wheel size ?
I'm wanting something that will lip out past the fender so that when I go to Mud Fest the body will get muddy.
Was thinking about some 18x10 wheels but not sure if 10" wide wheels will work BC I want the deep dish style wheel I think they call them reverse??

Scoot sorry for the delayed reply started with a new biz and eating up the time. The tires are 35" Toyo opencountry R/T on 17" 8.5 metod wheels. I off road so I can air down sufficiently, the 10" width they would blow off the bead easier. Love the tires They sitt between the A/T and M/T

How do you like the kenda klevers? Are they good in the snow? Do they wear fast?
