Yupp, like Panda said. When I changed my passenger cam cover, I unhooked a heater hose, and it was a little loose when I put it back on so it leaked in the hole, if it leaks enough like mine did, it will cause a misfire.

ok plug wires fixed my missfire :pepper: but I still havent found the leak... are you guys talking about the heater hoses that fun to the heater core through the firewall? if so they are dry.... maybe a previous owner messed with them and didnt clear out the plug hole? IDK but im still at the same coolant level on my surge tank havent lost anything.

When I had the problem with mine, it was an off and on misfire. It never dawned on me until a few weeks later when my computer told me it was #4, but prior to that I could hear the misfire through my exhaust especially. With mine, when I pulled the #4 plug wire, the boot was wet, from the coolant sitting in the plug hole. My heater hose looked dry as well and I couldn't tell that it was leaking until I watched it with the motor running, and it was leaking pretty good.

I don't think it will leak enough of a difference to notice the loss of coolant by looking at your coolant level since its just a drip drip kind of deal, but when mine misfired, I let it cool down and pulled the #4 plug wire and saw that it was wet from coolant.
