4x4 and 4low light on and wont accelorate!! ASAP help only vehicle!!!

I have a 98 exp. 5.4 4x4, today I drove 70 miles to work and no problem started it 13 hrs later and 4x4 and low range light is on, and when i accelorate the engine revs and then shifts with out any power. The engine has no codes and the A4WD light is not on. But the vehicle is not in 4x4 or low range it is definatly in 2wd. i can move the switch and nothing. Any ideas its my only vehicle and i have to work friday... Any help is greatly appreciated.

go under teh hood and in the fuse panel pull the fuse for the 4wd system. look in your manual for the fuse number. that may help. it will diable the 4wd alltogether. hope it helps you get to work
