Does the front driveshaft spin but not the front wheels? Or both do not spin?

It sounds like the center axle disconnect.
Either:
The steel shift rod that goes through the aluminum axle housing is sticky (like mine was)
or
The vacuum actuator on the axle died (easy to check with a small vacuum pump)
or
One of the vacuum solonoids on the firewall (behind the battery) are bad or aren't getting good vacuum.

All this stuff is really easy to check. It's easier to tell if the disconnect is working if you jack up the right front tire and give it a slow spin while you try to engage the disconnect lever (behind the black plastic cover on the axle, just to the right of the pumpkin).

This all assumes that the driveshaft is spinning but not sending power to the front wheels.
