Hi everyone,

I haven't been on here in a while, so I thought I would get started with my build up of my 5.4. So here is what I have so far

granatelli Hot Street COP
FR High flow oil pump with oversized pick up
Navigator water pump (better flow than expy has shroud around fins

Powerdyne XB-1a with 2.76 upper and 7 inch lower vortec
Completely redone wiring harness in the truck
triple gauge pod with Glow shift gauges and wide band with data logging.
Oil seperator
Maradyne MM22KX dual fans

I would be interested if the long tubes fit without modification. If so is it 4wd?

Look forward to following your build. Photos!! :)

Granatelli Hot street COP and motor assembled and test fitting before it goes in. Glad I did to ran into issues with super charger and valve cover clearance and the crappy belt tension-er was 12mm short so decided to fab a new one a lot thicker and with an adjustment screw. Will put those up when painted.

Hoping it will be in the truck running with out the SC next week then after a month I will tune for the SC and have some dyno numbers. Then will be on to paint (well Plastidip anyways to Matte Black. Then black carpet and the fun part of stripping the insides for paint black as well.

I did a lot of searching for long tube headers when I did my build. Many were listed for the F150 of the same years and the drivetrain is basically the same. But the body is different and when I checked on the manufacturers sites none listed longtubes for the expy only shorties. Some vendors did but it did not agree with what the manufacturer had listed. Even called and asked and none would confirm that they would fit in an expy.... thats why I am interested to see if they fit without modification. If they do I may go this route in the future.

What boost do you intend to run?

Or are you going to ramp it up over time?? :)

it will be 12lbs to start due to running a 9.4 compression want to stay with pump gas. If my tuner can do it I will max it out at 18lbs. I have seen it done but depends on my tuner I got to.

With the headers i don't see what the differance could be with the bodies. Mostly it will be the front clip that would have to be different. I will let know how they fit next early next week took vacation from work to put her in by next tuesday. Will also let know if the body lift will make a difference of not. Ill be sure to measure out clearances for you. As for the BL the clearance I have was great I could take out all the factory head bolts on the passenger side with no problem. Even unbolted the trans from inside the engine bay.
