800 Mile trip yesterday..

In my new/used 2013 Expedition el limited. Back and forth through the entire state of Maine and anyone that has traveled through northern Maine you know how bad the roads can be..Anyways, Heard a grinding type noise - sounded like a vehicle trying to pass - a few different times while climbing also was towing a small trailer in tow/haul mode.. I've had the vehicle for almost three months and it has 114,000..Noise was underneath me that I know..,Hoping I don't have a bad tranny... Other than that she drove like a boss..

IWE's make noise when they're on the way out. Try putting it in 4WD and see if it goes away

It sounds like the vacuum hubs (iwe), unplug them and if goes away leave the air lines unplugged until you can fix it.
