What gear do you think for 40" and would you think it would work with 35" ???

well if it was me 35s would need 4.56s and 37+ would be 4.88s... but if your gonna run both I would go with 4.56s since they would work with both but if you did 4.88s I think it would be to much for the 35s...

never did it... I have a guy near my house that retired from his big garage but still does smaller repairs in his shop at his house that does most of the gears for the people in the offroad club in town

4.88s on 35s would be fine if you never need to go on the highway, plus your launch at stop lights would be crazy lol, might actually make you have better city mpg with the engine not having to work as hard to get you rolling.
yukon gears are really big in offroad, thats what ill probably be going with.
Check out 4wheelparts.com or call them for some assistance they really seem to know their sh*t
Gears are the reason im probably going with 37s on 12" of lift, and 35s on 9" of lift
Ive pretty much accepted 35s for the time being, then 37s, then when i can do gears, possibly a tranny rebuild, programmer, a few minor engine mods, exhaust, intake etc. Ill go up to 40"s
