Could be a blown fuse or the heater motor resistor

Do you have the manual heater controls??
Yes manual controls. Is the fuse located under dash? Thanks for your response. I have to leave for a couple hours but I will check in later.

Check fuse # 23 40Amp fuse Under the hood
Check fuse #24 10Amp fuse under the dash.

Check fuses using a meter not just by looking at the fuse.

Blower motor resistor is located mounted to the blower motor housing

Have attached wiring diagram and a pic of the blower motor resistor location

The wife and I took the truck out to lunch and now everything is working normal... This problem is obviously intermittent , So I will continue to monitor and diagnose the situation. Thanks for the diagrams. Tomorrow I will check those 2 fuse connections and the resistor connections. But right now, all fan speeds are working normally. Thanks again.

Checked both fuses with meter, they are ok. Blower working fine till I opened rear hatch to place a package there, got back in truck and blower not working. Got out opened and closed hatch, blower working. Obviously a connection issue somewhere. Comments?

Are you talking about the front blower? Opening and closing the rear hatch should have nothing to do with any wiring but its possible that any vibration that is caused by closing the hatch could effect a bad wiring connector.

I would think if that is the case closing any door would have the same effect.

The blower motor could have a dead spot somewhere. When you turn on the blower, and if it does not turn on, bang on it with your fist. If it turns on, it's a blower motor.
