I have howl and moan that gets worse with speed. It's not the tires. I used to think it was aggressive tread racket. When I am doing 50mph or so and I turn the wheel quickly as in an abrupt lane change, the noise goes away for that short time; this doesn't happen when I do the same maneuver in the other direction. Does that seem like a wheel bearing problem to you too?
