I'm wanting to put taller and stiffer coil springs on my 98' 4x4 Expedition.

Does anyone have any info on this type if swap? I've tried searching the web but all I get is a bunch of hits on swapping the air ride to coils, I don't have air ride so I'm at a loss.

I've heard of people using F250 springs but what year/model/engine?

Does anyone know what the stock spring dimensions are front & rear for an Expedition?

I need stiffer springs for towing, even using shocks w helper springs its not enough and I'd like to see it sit about 2 inches taller.

do a torsion crank that will give you 2" front and it will be stiffer and get some spacers. that will give you the same ride in the back but with the 2" lift. that will also help with towing making it a little more level.

I've heard that but I've also heard that you can install the F250 springs since they are taller then you won't need the spacers.
