Hello new here. I have an issue that I cant figure out. When I start my truck most of the time it just cranks but if u listen to it the fuel pump comes on when u turn the key and just runs, and if u let it go it'll run for 10min or so before it stops and once it stops it fires and runs perfect no issues. And if it doesn't start first time like jus mentioned and u turn key on and off till it stops which is sometimes twice sometimes a dozen times it will run fine. Help I'm lost

Would help to know the age and mileage of the vehicle, has the fuel pump and fuel filter been changed in the past?
Fuel pumps will prime for @5 secs when the ignition key is turned to on. If the pcm doesn't detect the engine is running it will cut power to that circuit. Are you sure that the pump is running for 10mins?
First thing to do is see what the fuel pressure is at KOEO and at KOER.

Its a 99 with about 158000 fuel pump was changed about a year ago and fuel filter about 4 months ago and yes I laid under the truck till it shut off it was def the fuel pump. What sensor or like wise tells it to shut off?
