First time poster, but reasonably seasoned owner.
2013 Limited with the factory tow package...
For reasons yet to be determined, my stock TBC decided to go AWOL. After a lot of investigation, it's down to the the TBC throwing U2202-60 which I believe means the IPC/BCM/?? in the car isn't configured to use a TBC. My temporary solution was to install an aftermarket TBC which, so far, seems up to the job.
Now I'm hooked on trying to figure out how to get the factory TBC to work, I downloaded FORSCAN, bought the recommended connector and set about finding the enable block. Nothing is showing up though that gives me the option to enable the TBC. Both HS and MS are registering so I'm pretty confident the adapter is working. I've tried various "tricks" from the archives e.g. not storing the profile, connecting while the engine is running with no success. I have a basic, manually switched adapter on order to test next.
There's an earlier thread alluding to 3rd gens being poorly supported in Forscan, so I'm wondering if I'm up against the limits of the program? I would be curious if anyone has a config/module list for a 2013 that I can use to compare, and if by any remote chance, anyone has ever sucessfully enabled a stock TBC in a 2013 using Forscan?
