The only true cold air modification I would think of is one that had the air filter in the surround, but still used a snorkel to get the air only through the driver fender when the hood was closed to seal the surround. Then, you would still do the Gotts mod to the fender hole and snorkel. I know I have seen this, but surfing through all the choices on eBay drew a blank. In my case, with the 2005 3valve, the air filter is on top of the intake manifold. The housing that looks like the filter canister on first generation two valves is just a baffle. If I were to fabricate, I would try to fit a K&N in that or use 1rst gen, get rid of all the air cleaner crap on the manifold, form a pipe and do the Gotts. But I know I've seen something like that ready made. Can someone point me in the right direction?

well you gotta understand the way ford did this intake setup. i too have a 2005. I also make intakes for Diesel trucks on the side. the actual making of the intake is easy, BUT making a plate for the MAF sensor is the hard part. I have the K&N intake setup on mine, only cause i got it used for cheaper than I could make it.
