AC clicking front passenger floor area

My AC just started to make a clicking noise from the front passenger floor area. The noise stops if I put the controls in recirculation mode though. I can control the temperature fine so I am thinking this is the flapper door for fresh to cabin air. No issues with airflow through the vents in any setting either

Searched last night and I stumbled on articles for the rear AC and the dreaded blend motor, but this issue
