Just got in accident last night, hit a basketball size rock that rolled down onto the road. Front right rim broke off, rear right rim bent, and both went flat.

Front right a-arm seems like it made a stress bent on side of the square frame and welt might be cracked on it.

Would that be considered totaled? Thanks.

if its just the arm and the tires, no it wont be totalled, most likely. but if the frame is cracked, absolutely. glad to hear you are okay though.

Agreed. I believe damages have to total a percentage of what the value is. Could have been worse. What would have it been like in a sedan? Glad your safe.

the total damages have to exceed 75% of the value of the vehicle or the vehicle has to be non fixable basicaly... it doesn't sound like this is the case with you.... glad your okay!!! keep us posted

Thanks guys, actually my mom was driving it home. I wasn't even there until after the accident.

I think the bracket to hold up the a-arm, that is welded to the frame, is cracked on the weld and bent the frame inward on the side.

If the frame is still semi straight, and i just get the wheel realigned (which it will need!) Will i be able to limp the car home, 4 hours south. Because i am visiting family in bakersfield. So yeah, all i need is one rim right now. So any thoughts, thanks very much everybody!!!

DONT DRIVE IT!!!!!... spend a little money and have it hauled... usually you can find a hot shot truck to move it fairly cheap... post on CL and see what you can find

No worries, i'll post pics when i get home.

Its at shop, gunna get right rear bearings & seal. Front spindle, camber kit, and some other crap.

I put some spares on it before i took it to the shop, it rides fine just like normal. But gunna get it fixed before i take it home.

I just cant belive my baby didn't flip during the accident! I'll keep ya'll updated. Thanks
