I have lights behind my grill on a rocker switch and I leave them on all the time. Most of the time its not a problem but the one time I didn't have my jumper cables I was 70 miles away from home. Luckily someone saw I had my hood up in the parking lot and helped out.

What I'm looking for is how to hook up my lights to the lights left on ding. I tried to search but (lights left on ding) didn't bring up anything... lol I dont know it its been done but I figure it has to be a problem that someone has solved.

That's an idea. might even be easier in the long run idk. I just don't know where to start. I'm not a genius at wiring but with instructions to follow I can get it done.

Thanks, a simple wiring diagram makes things way simple. Even with taking a few classes on wiring and electronics some wiring diagrams make me scratch my head. I think ill make that one of my winter projects. I'm laid off most of the winter so I get real board and get a lot done. Its been a long time sense I made any circuits. I think the last real thin I made was crossovers for some Soundstream speakers I got from a shop going out of business
