Aftermarket Roof-mount DVD

[99 EXP]

Greetings. I just bought a 99 EXPO EB with a moon roof with no roof HVAC vents/controls. I would like to mount an aftermarket DVD screen on the roof. I'm not sure how to mount the screen. I've removed the moon roof motor panel but still can't find a reasonable location for the screen. I already have an 8" screen from a previous purchase. The DVD player will mount in the center console with out issue. Any suggestions? How have you mounted your DVD player? Thanks!

Im not sure how, but I know a local stereo shop told me they can mount a TV even on the Expy's with moon roof. This is their info:

I used the mounts it came with and then drilled into the roof braces.

thats how i've heard its done...sometime they have to make brackets or run brackets to hold the platform in place if nothing's there to mount to...

I have one in our 05' mercedes c320 with moon roof, that's how it was done.. with the brackets it came with mounted right up apparently But.. it did come pre installed.
