Air Intake

I was thinking of changing my stock air intake to a K & N air filter and intake with hopes of increasing power. Ultimately, I'd like a little more power and quickness when taking off from a red light or merging onto the highway. Any insight or suggestions on hot to do this would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Changing the air filter would not give you a noticable boost in acceleration given the weight of the truck. Do an ecu tuning to adjust the parameters or get performance camshafts or install PI heads to increase compression ratio.
