Hello,
I have a 99 expedition and the rear end is sagging. It was working fine then it sat for about a week and it was low. Compressor is not turning on, however if I remove the pigtail from the relay and jump the positive and negative it will run. During this the front end will lift higher but not the back. If I remove the air line from the valve on the driver side under the driver door, air comes to the valve, however I don't get air after the valve. I tried to test the valve by connecting a battery to it, I did not hear it open or close. I replaced this but I am still having the same issue. Rear height sensor appears to be attached as it should. What else could keep air from going to the back end? I will mention that using a test light on the pig tail by the relay, the small wire on the outside (someone said command line from module) didn't light up.

air union coupler under the master cylinder (on my '97 anyway). they fail preventing air from going astern to the rear bags.
If that's your problem, mine lasted 12 years; currently on the second.
