Sitting in the driveway, but, next door neighbor's lawn (right next to driveway) was being mowed by one of those huge/loud zero turns. Wasn't hit, so, would the vibration do it? Strange...

100% can be triggered by vibration. I’m certain that’s looking for thieves rattling the doors or pry or sawing or whatever. I’ve seen them set off by trains and jets.

Also White lightning, LOL, love that!

My alarm is triggered when the dogs are inside my vehicle and my door/tail gate is closed...trying to find a way to disengage when I don't want it to go off! Any ideas...have contacted Ford Canada...they could not help.

Just found this in the manual/I've never selected "Perimeter only", mine defaults to "All Sensors":

Using the System

You can change the level of security when
the ignition is switched off through the
information display with the
urity when

below:
Perimeter Only (If Equipped)
Perimeter only monitors the following:
• Doors.
• Hood.
• Liftgate.
All Sensors (If Equipped)
All sensors monitors the following:

Mine defaults to perimeter only since I leave bottles of water in the truck overnight due to leaving early in AM. Apparently the water freezing causes the plastic to sound similar to glass breaking.
Pretty irritating in the middle of the night.

I have a 2023 and cannot figure out how to disable the alarm or at least default to "perimeter only". It drives me crazy. At least once a week if goes off because I leave the dog in the car and forget to turn of the motion sensing. I truly feel like an alarm system in a modern car is completely useless except to disturb the peace. I wish I could have deleted this option when I bought the truck instead of paying for something that is worth less than zero. Haha, I guess the old undercoating scam doesn't work so alarms are a way to jack up the price of the car for something worthless...
