I am getting ready to install an Amp in my 2011 Expy XLT, with NO stock SUB.

The plan is to install a LC2I (audio Control) line convert to keep the stock HU along with all the SYNC controls.

All I really wanted was a subwoofer for a little extra bass but did not want to search for a STOCK sub because I was guessing they are not worth the time to install.

Here are my questions:
1. Is there a STOCK plug to add RCAs?
a.I am guessing that if these are available, they are not as clean as line convert that I plan to install.

2. I do not want to cut the front factory plug, is there any inline plug that can be purchased so that I can keep the stock plug clean?
a. Not knowing what is behind the dash, but guessing that there is a more than one plug going into the rear of HU, I was hopping that I could do kind of a “Stock to Stock” plug for the speaker wires.

3. If there is no “Stock to Stock” speaker wire plug, would it make since to run the Speaker leads for the line convert back to the AMP location?
a. I plan on installing an OLD SCHOOL Rockford 4080IX, since I will be tapping into the front speaker lines and those will now run off of 2CH of this 4CH amp. And then the AMPed Speaker leads back to the FRONT to tap back into the speaker wires that will drive the front speakers.

4. HOW DO I REMOVE HEADUNIT in this truck?
a. My 2002 f150 was CAKE, just use the keys and remove dash trim since they never match the stock radio totally.

5. Where to install the amp?
a. I was thinking about mounting the amp under one of the seats (Pass front or Middle row). Or should I mount in a hidden place like rear storage area?

Thanks,
Brett
