Howdy everyone, I'm new, I've been signed up on the forum for about a week. I'm currently in Kosovo deployed with my WY ARNG unit, as a black hawk mechanic (15Tango) and I got stuck with a desk job for the time being. Originally I was a B.H. Structural repairer, which I only bring up to point out how surprisingly little either of those skills translate over to the automotive world.. well.. mostly the mechanical side 
Right before I left I bought my 99, White, Beat Up, Exaughstless, 4.6L 4wd Expedition. I'm waiting on my buddy to send me pics because I've read enough of the Threads on here to know that its:ics-****: So as soon as I get them I'll post them.
A family friend who's the best mechanic I've ever met has jumped on the reapairs for me Which included (off the top of my head) replacing the burnt #4 cylinder intake valve, head gasket, injector, putting on a new center pipe and muffler, replacing the timing chain tensioner, servicing all the injectors, and redoing the tune up that the guy who owned it before me supposedly had done.
Im currently looking online for new bumpers and a rear hatch, and my buddy is looking for them locally to see where we can get them the cheapest.
Is that enough introduction? LoL. I've enjoyed seeing all the different things you guys have done to your expeditions and am coming up with my "own" ideas by seeing all of them. Ill post pics a soon as I get them!
