Any instructions to remove 2018-21 FORD EXPEDITION GAS TANK FUEL FILLER COVER DOOR LID JL1B-78405C46-AJ OEM

Hello everyone - Door cover needs to be removed and/or popped back in - any instructions or help out there? do not want to damage it

Stick a flathead screwdriver in that slot and pull towards you.

Had your outer fuel door cover partially pull away from the door assembly? What causes the misalignment? Did you simply snap the outer cover back on?

Yes - my son had accidently bumped into it and popped it out of its grooves. Popped it out with a screwdriver as shown and was able to slide it out away from truck re-aligned the grooves and slid it back and popped it into place
