Couple quick questions hopefully.
#1 - I changed out some of the ATF on our 07 Expd this weekend. I siphoned roughly 5.5 qts (didn't drop the pan) but was only able to put 4.8 back in before the pan started overflowing. I figured that the aux cooler had also emptied and was able to put the missing .7 qt into it. Test drove it and everything seems fine.
My question is about the fluid level. My driveway is not quite level. I checked it while idling hot and the level was about on the K on the dipstick. I took it for a short drive then backed into my previous spot and checked again. It was all the way up to the handle base. Averaging those two readings out leaves me with a level just above the crosshatching. Should I be concerned? I'll be towing a 1 ton pop-up this weekend.
#2 - I've changed 7 of 8 plugs on the truck. I only have the back right (pass. side) one to do (#8 I think). The front 4 were fine. #3,4, and 7 all broke and had to be extracted. Any tips on getting it out easily or improving access to it? Looks like there are two coolant lines running directly above the cylinder. I am assuming since #4 broke off I will have the same issue with #8.
