I have the instructions for installing the front receiver. They require the removal of the tow hooks before installing the receiver. After the receiver is installed, the hooks are re-installed.

Based on this, I'd say the tow hooks' mounting location provide a major strength factor to the receiver although there are other mounting bolts used as well.

i looked under mine and i found 20 pan bolts and one bolt at the bottom center which is the drain plug, so its a 4R100? or is there anything else that id have to check?
