Hello I have a 2017 expedition. The sync/aux seems to have stopped working unexpectedly. I can’t get into the phone settings either, everytime I click aux it shows the source for about half a second then goes back to am/fm. Can’t find anything related to the phone/sync/aux in menu either. Any advice?

I’m having a similar problem - no aux/Bluetooth and the settings don’t even show up in the menus. I’ve tried pulling the fuse and disconnecting the battery with no luck. Did you find a resolution?

Did you ever figure out the issue? I’m having the same problem and my BT isn’t working either so I’m wondering if it’s all connected.

I'm having the same problem. Part of the frustration is that I would attempt a factory reset, but the reset code is buried in a menu made inaccessible by the very problem that I am trying to solve.
Anyone?

I'm in the same boat. The Bluetooth module died, and at one point the aux in wasn't working. I found out that trying to charge my phone from the center console USB caused all kinds of issues. I have reset the whole system by disconnection the car battery. I still have no Bluetooth, but at least I have the aux in again. This started last year. 2016 XLT EL Sync 2. Replacement options are non existent. Using an FiiO Bluetooth DAC and it's working great just keeping it on Aux. Best of luck as I've given up the search for an aftermarket solution, and sync 3/4 is out of the question.
