So after nearly 3months of waiting, finally got it back from the paint shop

First order of business was to delete the roof bars and rails. Since I dont load anything on the roof, it just makes cleaning and waxing the roof easier

That really looks good. Like that style of Lightning wheels. I put the same 2004 F150 Heritage model amber signals on my old one years ago, along with the clear head lights, I still like that look - well done. The yelow fogs kinda clash, but overall the truck is pretty good looking. I wanted to get the F150 Harley or STX lower front bumper and paint it body color years ago, never did. Again, that is one sharp truck - not overdone - I like it.

Thanks for the kind words. I was going for the SVT look (front end anyway less the engine). Already have the grille & headlights but decided to just keep it as is. I know what you mean about the yellow fogs (Im a fan of french lights)

It looks awsome! Like its straight from factory. You should be very proud over such a nice vehicle.

Rear exhaust tip looks ugly. But I dont like the fat bolt on tips that I see around. I hope to find a chrome sleeve just to cover it at some point

Are the yellow fogs bespoke lenses/lights or is it film over the factory lights?

Mine are all hazy and pocked and I like the yellow as well (different look plus technically yellow works better in fog - less glare for this old man's eyes).

film over the lamps. The lamps are made by Depo which have clear lenses to match the Heritage clear headlamps. Then I added 3000K HIDs to it to make it a really yellow hue

I like the french look too. However with functionality, it seems only the french believe that it works better in fog.

OT - Both Germany and the US after a series of tests concluded that its no better than white. Which probably explains why after the 90s France dropped this regulation

That's how they feel about the French language too.

I always found the glare / bounce back easier on the eyes.

I agree. If our expe had 2 separate high beam lamps they would be frenched too :happy107:

Laminex has good color hue and thicker gauge but pricey. Some sellers in ebay are more orange than yellow. I was going to paste the link where I bought mine but for some reason it doesnt come up anymore. Anyway if it helps I can send you a small sample of what I eventually used
